The Great Migration

The History of Suvie:

Rolled healing druid.

Moved server.
Draenei pally.
Healmonster.
Draenei shammy.
Wrath of the Lich King.
Moved back to Elune.
Raid healing superstar.
Pregnant.
Quit.
Baby.
Bored.
WoW again.
Friends all gone.
Cry.
Bored.
Discover old guildies on Cairne server.
Transfer Suvie.
Restart alts as level 1's.
Happy!

So to simplify... I transferred Suvie to Cairne! A bunch of my old guildies have a guild there and I transferred to play with them. In two days, I've already had more fun than I had in the month or so that I was in the guild on Elune. No that they were a bad guild; they just didn't share the warped sense of humor that I and my old friends share.

I've also rediscovered my spine when it comes to healing. It comes in handy when the majority of the group is friends you've known for several years, because then you don't have to worry about getting booted! Bwahaha! But I haven't wiped a group yet, so yay!

I'm Sorry Already

I am a Bloodsail Admiral.

This means I did a lot of goblin killing once upon a time. It also means that any time I try to set hoof into any goblin city, they all come try to kill me. And they succeed a lot of the time.

I've been grinding goblin (Steamwheedle Cartel) rep for a long time. I was doing it the hard way - trying not to lose my Bloodsail rep in the process - because I really wanted the Insane title. But after Cataclysm was released, my normal methods for farming goblin rep were taken away.

So, I said, "Fuck it."

I've been murdering scores of pirates, and lately, been doing cloth turn-ins. I've turned in a LOT of cloth. The Bloodsail Buccaneers hate my smelly guts, and the goblins still do, too. I'm on my way to Ratchet at this very moment to turn in a bunch of linen, so hopefully they'll like me enough to allow me into their stupid city.

Newest Mounts

100 marks of the Argent Junk. Only a zillion to go
for the rest!  /wrists

FINALLY! Now I never have to do another
Brunnhildar daily ever again! Wheee!

Coprophilia

Coprophilia (kop"ro-fil'e-ah) - an absorbing interest in feces.

Blizzard, you are populated by coprophiliacs.

I've been going through the Vanilla questing zones to get the zone questing achievements (AGAIN >:| ), and I started noticing a theme.

Doody.

I only just started noticing them in Redridge. There might be some in Westfall, but I don't remember any. In any case, I've decided to start chronicling all of Blizzard's references to poop. Strap yourselves in, folks, it's gonna be a long one.

To be continued...

Have... Have We Met?

When anyone picks up the Protectors of Hyjal daily, when they enter Sethria's Roost, they'll spawn a little grouping of minions to help kill the monsters. Sometimes, one of these minions spawns into a named character. Six of those named characters are needed for the achievement.

The trick to this achievement lies in an awesome macro. Observe:

/cleartarget
/tar Linken
/tar Nat Pagle
/tar Mankrik
/tar Hemet
/tar Chromie
/tar Thassarian
/stopmacro [noexists]
/wave

Equip that to a key you can spam, and then just sit above Sethria's Roost and spamspamspam. It will take a little bit, but eventually they'll all happen by.

Note: Once you have waved to someone, remove them from the macro, or you'll keep waving to them and not to the others.

The Limneographer

I'm working on two achievements at the moment: The Limnologist and The Oceanographer. They're easiest to do together, so I've put together a list of where to fish, arranged by world area, then by zone. Unless indicated as a school, the fish can be caught in open water.

I've tested out my list here, and it's confirmed that all of these fish can be caught where I've listed. Some, like the Bristle Whisker Catfish, can be caught just about anywhere, so you'll probably get them long before you ever set pole into Northern Barrens. Keep in mind that the Summer Bass can only be caught in the summer, and the Winter Squid can only be caught in the Winter. So you're going to have to wait a while to get The Oceanographer no matter when you start, which sucks!

Note: this list is not all-inclusive. These fish can be caught in other areas; however, I grouped them together in as few zones as possible to facilitate easy fishing.
